The note reads: Washington, March 29 1870 Mr. Milans Dear Sir: Your note was duly received.

Bradley was appointed to the Supreme Court by Ulysses S. Grant and served for almost 22 years until his death in 1892. He is best remembered as being a member of the Electoral Commission that decided the disputed 1876 presidential election between Rutherford B. Written on a piece of lined paper that measures 4 ¾ x 4 7/8.

Condition: Some light errant marks, remnants of newspaper clippings on verso, otherwise in very good condition with a neat, clear signature. A note about packing: Check our feedback.
